The Dark Gallery has a sweet surprise with the opening of their newest and largest store at the newly-revamped Great World. The new store will include three different concepts by The Dark Gallery—a cafe, a retail store, and a dedicated dine-in salon with exclusive plated desserts as well as savoury dishes.
The idea behind the salon is an expansion on the brand’s philosophy in crafting artisan dark chocolate desserts. The menu features an exclusive variety of new dessert sets and customers can also enjoy two lovely high tea sets.
We started with the Dessert Degustation Set (S$39) which takes centre stage at the salon which includes a three-course menu with different textures and complementary elements.
The first course named Choco-Misu is The Dark Gallery’s take on the classic tiramisu. The sweet creation is a mixture of 75% Tanzanian Dark Chocolate Mousse, Chocolate Espresso Sponge, Mascarpone and Cacao Streusel.
The finished product is a rich and decadent chocolate tiramisu which I absolutely loved. The cream was luscious
